Heute nehme ich euch mit nach Warendorf. Dort war ich mit dem Lensbaby Burnside 35.
Warendorf liegt im Münsterland und ist auch als Pferdestadt bekannt. Wer durch die Straßen Warendorfs läuft, wird daran schnell durch die vielen bunten Kunstpferde erinnert. Die Stadt hat einen gut erhaltenen historisch gewachsenen Stadtkern mit über 600 denkmalgeschützten Objekten. Am Heumarkt, welches der ehemalige Heu-Umschlagplatz Warendorfs war gibt es den „Gute-Montag-Brunnen“ des Künstlers Bonifatius Stirnberg. Die Figuren sind drehbar und stellen eine Geschichte dar: Für ein Fest der Warendorfer Bäckergesellen wuschen diese den Salat am Brunnen und trieben ihren Schabernack.
Das Licht war an diesem Tag nicht besonders gut um zu fotografieren, aber es ließ sich nicht ändern. Also habe ich das beste daraus gemacht.
Today I take you to Warendorf. I was there with the Lensbaby Burnside 35.
Warendorf is located in the Münsterland and is also known as a horse city. Those who walk through the streets of Warendorf are quickly reminded to that by the many colorful art horses. The town still has a well-preserved historic city center with over 600 listed buildings. At Heumarkt, which was the former hay-handling center of Warendorf, you find the „Good Monday Fountain“ by the artist Boniface Stirnberg. The figures are moveable and represent a story. For a party of the Warendorfer baker jacks, they washed the salad at the fountain and did their jokes.
The light was not very good on that day to take photos, but it could not be changed. So I made the best of it.

Wonderful pictorial tour of the town Birgit! I love all the colorful buildings you have there (I live in such a boring tan community. 🙂 ). My favorite images in your set are the statue. I think you really brought out their best with the Burnside.
Thank you Gizella – perhaps your TANs can be interesting in a special way. It is always hard to take photos where you live. So I go to a town next to where I live – thinks seems to be more interesting there although they are the same as here 😉
