Der heutige Wanderweg wurde vor ca. 100 Jahren angelegt und von K\u00f6nigin Marie-Henriette eingeweiht. Ein Wanderweg entlang eines Baches\/Flusses, der durch eine wildromantische Schluchtenlandschaft f\u00fchrt. Es gibt unz\u00e4hlige wundersch\u00f6ne Ausblicke, die man diesem Bach gar nicht zutraut.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wir haben am \u201ePont de Belheid\u201c in Sart (Jalhay) wo das Tor zur &#8222;Promenade du vall\u00e9e de la Ho\u00ebgne&#8220; steht, geparkt und sind im Dauerregen auf Forstwegen bergauf zur 1930 zur Jahrehunderfeier zum Bestehen des K\u00f6ngreichs Belgien errichteten Jahrhundertbr\u00fccke &#8222;Pont de Centenaire&#8220; gelaufen, was sich im Nachhinein als sehr gute Idee bewies, weil sich das Wetter nach dem Mittag doch beruhigte und zumindest der Regen aufh\u00f6rte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An der Pont du Centenaire, einer Br\u00fccke im Jugendstil, gibt es Tische und B\u00e4nke, die zwar zum Picknick einluden, aber halt sehr nass waren. Da es aufgeh\u00f6rt hatte zu regnen haben wir dennoch eine kleine Rast gemacht und unser Br\u00f6tchen gegessen, denn der Weg abw\u00e4rts zum Ausgangspunkt, der \u00fcber Ger\u00f6llformationen, Baumwurzeln, Matsch, glatte Steine, Pf\u00fctzen und glatten Br\u00fccken f\u00fchren w\u00fcrde, wird uns noch einige Aufmerksamkeit abfordern, damit wir nicht unverhofft zum Liegen kommen oder gar ein sehr erfrischendes Bad nehmen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Der Wanderweg wird gut gepflegt und f\u00fcr Wanderer recht komfortabel gehalten, dennoch ist er nicht zu untersch\u00e4tzen, da man auch immer wieder von den Eindr\u00fccken der Landschaft abgelenkt wird.\u00a0Immer im Ohr das charakteristische Ger\u00e4usch der Ho\u00ebgne erwarten wir weitere beeindruckende 5 km und 200 H\u00f6henmeter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Niemand nahm ein Bad, nur mein rechter Wanderschuh nahm ein Bad in einer unerwartet tiefen &#8222;Pf\u00fctze&#8220;. Mailo &#8211; unser Hund &#8211; war nicht erfreut mit den Schwingungen der Holzbr\u00fccken und unser Freund rutschte auf einer sehr glatten Holzbr\u00fccke aus, hat sich aber Gott sei Dank nichts weh getan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nach diesem Tag freuen wir uns alle auf ein Essen im Baraque Michel, einem Gasthaus mit besonderem Charme. Das sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Today&#8217;s trail was created about 100 years ago and inaugurated by Queen Marie-Henriette. A hiking trail along a creek\/river that leads through a wild and romantic gorge landscape. There are countless beautiful views, which one does not expect alongside this brook.<\/p>\n<p>We parked at the &#8222;Pont de Belheid&#8220; in Sart (Jalhay), where you find the gateway to the &#8222;Promenade du Valee de la Ho\u00ebgne&#8220;. We walked in continuous rain on forest roads uphill to the century bridge &#8222;Pont de Centenaire&#8220; built in 1930 for the centenary of the existence of the kingdom of Belgium. This proved to be a very good idea in retrospect, because the weather calmed down after noon and the rain stopped.<\/p>\n<p>At the Pont du Centenaire, an Art Nouveau bridge, we found tables and benches that were inviting for a picnic, but were very wet. Since it had stopped raining we took a break and ate our bread, because the way down to the starting point, which would lead over rock formations, tree roots, mud, smooth stones, puddles and smooth bridges, will require our attention, so that we do not come unexpectedly to lie down or even take a very refreshing bath.<\/p>\n<p>The trail is well maintained and kept quite comfortable for hikers, yet it is not to be underestimated, as one is always distracted by the impressions of the landscape. Always in the ear the characteristic noise of the Ho\u00ebgne we expect another impressive 5 km and 200 meters in altitude.<\/p>\n<p>No one took a bath, just my right walking shoe took a bath in a unexpectedly deep &#8222;puddle&#8220;. Mailo &#8211; the dog &#8211; was not pleased with the vibrations of the wooden bridges and our friend slipped on a very smooth wooden bridge but thank goodness, nothing hurts.<\/p>\n<p>After that day all of us are looking forward to a meal at Baraque Michel, an inn with a special charm.
