Heute hat sich der Innenhafen zu einer St\u00e4tte von Arbeit, Wohnen, Kultur und Freizeit entwickelt. K\u00fcppersm\u00fchle wurde zum Kunstmuseum, die Werhahnm\u00fchle,\u00a0 zum Kindermuseum. Auch das Kultur- und Stadthistorisches Museum fand einen Platz nebem dem Stadtarchiv von Duisburg. Der &#8222;Garten der Erinnerung&#8220; oder auch Altstadtpark wurde von Dani Karavan angelegt. Hier findet sich ein Teil der historischen Stadtmauer von Duisburg. Hinter dem Altstadtpark befindet sich das Gemeindezentrum und die Synagoge der J\u00fcdischen Gemeinde Duisburg-M\u00fclheim\/Ruhr-Oberhausen.
